FanDuel NBA Line-Up Picks Tuesday Dec. 18th
It’s NBA Tuesday and that means another opportunity to enjoy watching a few games and more importantly, to win some money. C’mon, who are we kidding? With the holiday season approaching what better time to bring in some extra cash to buy the wife and kids a few gifts or to possibly pay some bills. Regardless, you’ll cash tonight with what I’ve got here for you. Good luck and see you back here tomorrow.
Kemba Walker PG Charlotte Bobcats (Draft on FanDuel Today & Play For HUGE Cash!) – Walker has become the real deal as far as this Charlotte team is concerned. Kemba is coming off a stellar performance on Saturday in which Kemba had his best performance to date. Walker scored 32 points (11-20 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 8-9 FT) along with 7 assists, 2 rebounds and 1 steal all while logging in 38 minutes. That game was Kembas career high in point production. Walkers price is still at a bargain and hasn’t ballooned yet but as we know that can change overnight. Keep in mind that Kemba has scored in double-digits in every game this season but one, that being the Thunder game from last month where Kemba was shutdown completely. Pay what you need to for Walker and you’ll be getting the best production from any other PG on the card tonight.
Projection: 27 pts / 2 ast / 7 reb / 1 blk / 2 stl
Additional PG Worth A Look
Greivis Vasquez New Orleans Hornets
Projection: 14 pts / 7 ast / 4 reb / 1 blk / 2 stl
Klay Thompson SG Golden State Warriors (Draft on FanDuel Today & Play For HUGE Cash!) – I’m going to start this kid tonight with the hopes of him getting out of his two-game funk. Thompson is coming off two of the lousiest showings this year to date. Thompson is facing the New Orleans Hornets tonight and I’m counting on history to repeat itself. Klay has a recent history of putting up good stat lines against this team and see him doing more of the same damage tonight. Thompson, against the Hornets has averaged 19 points, 3 assists, 4 rebounds and 1 steal. I’ll give the kid a pass on his past two starts and just chalk it up to an ‘off’ night, he’ll turn things around here. I think Klay tops his previous average against New Orleans tonight and has his best game yet this month.
Projection: 17 pts / 4 ast / 5 reb / 2 blk
Additional SG’s Worth A Look
Marco Belinelli SG Chicago Bulls
Projection: 21 pts / 4 ast / 6 reb / 1 stl
Andre Iguodala SG Denver Nuggets
Projection: 13 pts / 7 ast / 8 reb / 1 blk / 1 stl
Harrison Barnes SF Golden State Warriors (Draft on FanDuel Today & Play For HUGE Cash!) – Harrison Barnes might not yet be a household name but at least for tonight he will be. I’m going out on the proverbial limb a bit here by recommending him but that my friends is what can make the difference in beating your competition. Barnes is one of those players where if you give him serious playing time he will produce for you. Example given, Harrison has just come off of a 19 point performance against the Hawks on Saturday in which he was able to log in 31 minutes of court time. In Barnes case, he (like so many others) when given the time can beast it out with the best of them. I’ll start Barnes tonight and will look forward to him having that extended time on the floor, because if he gets his 30-plus minutes this evening he very well could be the best value play on the whole card tonight.
Projection: 18 pts / 5 ast / 5 reb / 1 stl
Additional SF Worth A Look
Metta World Peace Los Angeles Lakers
Projection: 18 pts / 4 ast / 9 reb / 2 stl
Thaddeus Young PF Philadelphia 76ers (Draft on FanDuel Today & Play For HUGE Cash!) – Young has been quietly putting up fantasy production on a daily basis. Thad is coming off of his third double-double in a row and he’ll look to make this start number four. Young faces the Mavericks tonight and that is good news for anyone that is planning on starting him. In the previous meeting last month versus Dallas, Young put up a solid stat line. In that game Young scored 20 points, 1 assist, 7 rebounds and 1 steal all while logging in only 29 minutes of playing time. Young has been more consistent with his shooting since the last meeting but even more so than that is the fact that Thad is getting more playing time on the floor. Youngs price is hovering around the mid-price range so there’s no excuse not to place him into your line-up tonight.
Projection: 22 pts / 3 ast / 7 reb / 3 blk / 3 stl
Additional PF Worth A Look
David West Indiana Pacers
Projection: 16 pts / 1 ast / 10 reb / 3 stl
Al Horford C Atlanta Hawks (Draft on FanDuel Today & Play For HUGE Cash!)- In yet another “History Repeats Itself’ play, we’ll be turning our sights towards Big Al Horford. Al is facing the Wizards tonight in what this fantasy sports writer thinks will be his best performance of the month. Horford has already seen Washington twice thus far and as well as he’s done previously against them tonight will be better. Much better. In his last two starts against the Wizards, Al is averaging 14.5 points, 5.5 assists, 11.5 rebounds, 1 block and 1 steal. Solid, yes. Am I looking for more than his average tonight, yes. Will he get it? Most definitely. Al will be on the floor most of this game as he is also averaging 42.5 minutes of floor time when playing Washington. Do not make the mistake of not starting Horford, it will cost you if you don’t. You’ve been warned.
