NFL Week 13 Game Predictions & Underdog Upset Picks
Following out blistering 10-2 ATS performance in Week 11, we went a solid 5-3-1 ATS on a more abbreviated card in Week 12, and our Upset Specials even went 2-1 straight up with Jacksonville and Miami both getting the money!
Unlike like last week, there are only two games with no lines this week and thus not included, with those being Pittsburgh vs. Baltimore and Cleveland vs. Oakland.
Chicago (-3½) over Seattle – The Bears defense can win this game by itself and the Seahawks are simply not the same team when they leave Seattle, as evidenced by the loss at Miami last week. (Expert Picks For This Game – Bet %)
Minnesota (+9) over Green Bay – The Packers are obviously not as bad as they looked offensively vs. the Giants last week, but the defense is a legitimate concern and the running of Adrian Peterson can lead to some success by Christian Ponder. (Expert Picks For This Game – Bet %)
St. Louis (+7) over San Francisco – The Rams played the Niners to a 24-24 tie in San Francisco and St. Louis is now home after actually scoring a season high 31 points at Arizona last week. (Expert Picks For This Game – Bet %)
*Upset Special #1 Arizona (+4½) over NY Jets – The Jets are probably officially dead for this season after their blowout home loss to the Patriots on Thanksgiving and simply cannot be trusted as favorites. (Expert Picks For This Game – Bet %)
*Upset Special #2 Kansas City (+3) over Carolina – The Panthers covered as road favorites over a dead Eagles’ team Monday but the Chiefs continue to play hard despite the 1-10 record, sticking with the Broncos last week. (Expert Picks For This Game – Bet %)
Detroit (-5) over Indianapolis – This is a rather tricky game, but it all comes down to the Colts not being as good on the road and Matthew Stafford could have a big game vs. the Indianapolis defense. (Expert Picks For This Game – Bet %)
*Upset Special #3 Jacksonville (+5½) over Buffalo – Break up the Jaguars! In two games since Chad Henne took over as starter, they took the Texans to overtime and beat Tennessee. (Expert Picks For This Game – Bet %)
New England (-7) over Miami – We usually do not like giving this many points in road division games, but the rules do not apply to the Patriots, who just crushed the Jets in a similar spot. (Expert Picks For This Game – Bet %)
Tennessee (+6) over Houston – The Texans are not blowing teams away right now and yet still have just one loss and a three-game lead in the division. No need to run up the score here. (Expert Picks For This Game – Bet %)
Denver (-7) over Tampa Bay – This looks like a lot of points at first glance, but the Broncos already had their breather in Kansas City last week and this is Peyton Manning vs. a Tampa Bay pass defense ranked dead last. (Expert Picks For This Game – Bet %)
San Diego (+1½) over Cincinnati – The Bengals are playing well but the only good team they have beaten is the Giants at home in a relatively meaningless non-conference game, so we are not ready to trust Cincinnati as road chalk. (Expert Picks For This Game – Bet %)
Philadelphia (+10) over Dallas – We would not bet any serious money on either of there teams, but +10 does seem a bit insane considering Dallas would have lost the first meeting if not for three non-offensive touchdowns. (Expert Picks For This Game – Bet %)
NY Giants (-2½) over Washington – Eli Manning looked like he was snapping out of his funk last week and he is now facing the 31st ranked Washington pass defense. He passed for 337 yards in the first meeting. (Expert Picks For This Game – Bet %)
