Joe Burrow – 31 for 39, 393 yards and three touchdowns. Burrow also added 64 yards on the ground on 14 carries.
Tua Tagovailoa – 21 for 40, 418 yards and four touchdowns with an interception. He lost five yards on three carries.
LSU beating Alabama oddly may have ended the Heisman Trophy race for now, but there is still plenty of football to be played. With that being said, Joe Burrow is the clear favorite on both FanDuel and DraftKings Sportsbooks. Burrow is -700 on FanDuel Sportsbook, and -910 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Keep in mind, +300 is better for bettors than +250, as you get more for your bet at the same time. This is a key part of betting with multiple books as options.
An updated look at the Heisman Trophy odds, entering Week 12 of College Football.

Could Joe Burrow Actually Lose the Heisman?
Burrow is a very heavy favorite at this stage in the game, no pun intended. LSU has three games left on their schedule before post-season play:
at Ole Miss
vs Texas A&M
Postseason will begin afterwards, likely with LSU playing a 2 games at a minimum. Is it possible for Burrow to lose the Heisman Trophy? Yes, it’s possible. But many things have to happen.
LSU Must Lose
LSU is heavily favored in their last three games, starting with being -21 against Ole Miss this weekend. Ole Miss is 4-6. Next weekend, LSU is back at home against 2-8 Arkansas which could be a 30+ point spread, then they finish at home against Texas A&M. TAMU is of course the toughest matchup, as their three losses are to Clemson, Auburn, and Alabama. That would be the one game LSU “could” lose. If LSU wins out and Burrow plays relatively well, the Heisman is his.
Heisman Competition Outperforms Late
The main battle all year came down to Tua against Burrow, but the injury to Tua essentially ruined that race, as Tua has just four touchdown passes in the last month, all coming against LSU. His odds tell the story of +4000 on FanDuel Sportsbook and +2200 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
The main competition now is Justin Fields and/or Jalen Hurts. But, Hurts does not have the likely team success of LSU, and Fields does not have the yardage stats, but does have the touchdowns.
Joe Burrow: 3,198 yards, 33 TD, 4 INT, 78.9% completion percentage, 66 carries, 189 yards, 3 TD on the ground.
Justin Fields: 1,859 yards, 27 TD, 1 INT, 68.2% completion percentage, 82 carries, 347 yards, 10 TD
Jalen Hurts: 2,742 yards, 24 TD, 4 INT, 73.3% completion percentage, 125 carries, 869 yards, 15 touchdowns.
By The Numbers
Burrow leads all three in passing yards and passing touchdowns. In terms of total touchdowns, Burrow is actually third, as Hurts has 39 total and Fields has 37 total to Burrow’s 36 total touchdowns.
Looking at total yards, Jalen Hurts has more (over 3600) and also has more touchdowns. The problem is the loss to Kansas State, fair or not, hurts Hurts’ chances.
If Justin Fields can post some crazy yardage and touchdown numbers in the next month and stay undefeated, that would be the main threat to Joe Burrow’s Heisman campaign, barring injury of course.
The thing is, if Burrow stays the course with those odds it is hard to imagine another player holding the trophy.
