It’s been two weeks since the start of college football, or technically three if you count Week 0. Alabama is 2-0. Clemson is 2-0. Lawrence and Tua both look great, nothing crazy has happened yet, right?
Well, not so fast. The Heisman Trophy race is already a close one, after some very impressive starts from some key quarterbacks at some top programs.
Here is a look at the current Heisman Trophy Odds at DraftKings Sportsbook and FanDuel Sportsbook, the odds at each book, and which book is better for bettors.
Keep in mind, +500 is better for bettors than +350, as you get more for your bet at the same time. This is a key part of sports betting with multiple books as options.
Let’s take a look at the current Heisman odds at both FanDuel Sportsbook App and DraftKings Sportsbook App.

Joe Burrow Joins Top Heisman Favorites
Quarterback dominates both sportsbook’s odds in terms of being favorable, with Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor at +1600 (both books) being the lone skill player with odds better than 20:1. Taylor has over 300 total yards and eight touchdowns in just two games this season. If there is a skill position with a chance right now, it’s Taylor.
Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence and Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa are at the top of DraftKings Sportsbook at +350, but FanDuel has a new top two. LSU quarterback Joe Burrow has slid in on FanDuel Sportsbook at +500, shooting way up the board after the first few games of play. Burrow has 750 yards and nine scores through two games as LSU has been incredible offensively. Burrow has completed 82% of his passes.

Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts is the player to watch though, for sure. He is currently +700 at both books, after being much higher before the season began. Hurts has 600 yards passing and six touchdowns while rushing for over 200 yards and three more scores total on the season. Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray are the last two Heisman Trophy winners, will Hurts make it three in a row?

One more player to keep an eye on is Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, who is +6000 on FanDuel Sportsbook, but DraftKings Sportsbook has him down to +3300. Jeudy has 18 receptions for 240 yards and four scores in just two games. His Heisman odds were 80/1 just 10 days.
This Heisman Trophy race will be a good one, be sure to stay tuned for more updates.
