Week 6 already. Time flies when you are having fun.
That’s enough of the cliches, but it’s true. We have seen an overwhelming sense of movement in the Heisman Trophy Odds race so far, with no signs of changing. Well, except for the top of the charts.
Tua Tagovailoa is the overwhelming favorite at the top, being +150 at both FanDuel Sportsbook and DraftKings Sportsbook. Right now, it looks like his to lose but he is certainly being chased by Jalen Hurts, who is having a tremendous season.
Here is a look at the current Heisman Trophy Odds at DraftKings Sportsbook and FanDuel Sportsbook, the odds at each book, and which book is better for bettors.
Keep in mind, +300 is better for bettors than +250, as you are receiving a higher rate of return on your bet. This is a key part of betting with multiple sportsbooks.

Heisman Trophy Race Key Movers
Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama
Tua is a key mover?!
Yes. He is now +150 on both books, making him the heaviest favorite of the last few weeks. He was +300 on FD and +250 on DK last week. Tua now has over 1,700 yards passing and 23 TD through the air, and has also scored twice on the ground. This means he has scored 25 touchdowns in five games. Come on.
Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon
Herbert continues to fall down the charts, and has dropped all the way to +4600 on FanDuel Sportsbook after being +2500 last week. He hasn’t even played too poorly, which is what makes this interesting.
Herbert has 14 passing touchdowns and no interceptions in four games, and has thrown for over 1700 yards. So why has he dropped?
We think it’s likely because of how far ahead Tagovailoa and Hurts are at QB, that Herbert won’t be able to come close to the production. In addition, it’s not likely that the Ducks will be playing deep into the college football playoffs, or in the spotlight in November/December
Heisman “Sleeper” to Watch
Chuba Hubbard, RB, Oklahoma State
+10000 on FD, Not Listed on DK
Hubbard is +10000 on FanDuel Sportsbook, and he is not listed on DraftKings Sportsbook. That is a mistake.
J.K. Dobbins is second on the rushing list in college football this year with 654 yards. Why is that relevant? Hubbard has nearly 300 more yards than Dobbins. Hubbard currently has 938 yards and 10 scores in five games. Two of those games came against ranked opponents as well. He has three 200-yard games and has scored multiple touchdowns in three of five as well.
It’s time to put Chuba on the map, as he is so far ahead of the guy behind him.
